TESTING - Testing Module
- Capacity Grading
After formation, the cells are subjected to charging and discharging tests again to accurately screen products that meet the capacity standards. This can strictly control the capacity consistency of the cells, eliminate unqualified products with capacity deviations, and ensure that each delivered cell meets the actual usage needs of customers.

- Aging
In the aging process, the capacity-graded cells are placed in static storage to further stabilize and improve the SEI film on the negative electrode surface, and retest core performances such as cell voltage and internal resistance. This can identify potential early failure risks, ensure the stability and consistency of cell performance, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent factory quality inspection.
- OCV Testing
OCV (Open Circuit Voltage) testing is carried out in an open-circuit state of the cell. The potential difference between the positive and negative electrodes is tested with professional instruments to accurately determine the electrochemical equilibrium state and state of charge of the cell, evaluate the stability of the SEI film, identify potential performance defects, and ensure consistent quality of the factory cells.

- Pack Assembly
The cells that pass capacity grading and sorting are connected in series and parallel as needed, combined with a battery management system (BMS), structural components, and heat dissipation modules. After assembly and testing, a finished battery pack is formed to ensure stable overall performance and operational safety.
- Battery Drop Test
To ensure the safety and stability of polymer batteries during transportation and use, Blumoti strictly implements regular sampling drop tests. In accordance with industry standards, a uniform drop height of 1000mm is selected for free drop tests, covering key stress-bearing parts such as surfaces, edges, and corners of the battery, fully simulating various accidental drop scenarios.
Test Result: The impact resistance of the polymer battery's outer casing and the stability of the internal structure meet the requirements, with no safety abnormalities such as leakage or bulging.

- Vibration Test
To simulate the bump and impact risks during battery transportation, Blumoti strictly conducts battery sampling vibration tests in accordance with industry standards. The test covers X/Y/Z three-axis directions, with parameters set as vibration frequency of 10–2000Hz, acceleration of 1–10g, and test duration of 1–4 hours per axis.
Test Result: The battery has no safety abnormalities such as damage, leakage, or smoke, and core electrical performance indicators such as open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, and capacity retention rate all meet the preset standards.
- Forced Discharge Test
To respond to sudden high-temperature abnormalities, the intelligent protection system of Blumoti batteries will immediately activate the forced discharge protection mechanism. Through controlled discharge, it reduces the internal voltage of the cell, quickly inhibits thermal runaway reactions, thereby effectively slowing down the battery heating rate and avoiding potential safety hazards.

- Safety Result Judgment of Forced Discharge Test
Verified by sampling tests, after triggering the forced discharge protection, the battery has no safety abnormalities such as leakage, smoke, or ignition; within 30 minutes after discharge, the cell temperature drops to below 45℃ (a safe range), and the deviations in open-circuit voltage and internal resistance are both controlled within ±2%. The capacity retention rate of subsequent charge-discharge cycles is ≥95%, so the protection mechanism is judged to be safe and effective.
- Data Certification
When the cell temperature reaches ≥70℃ (thermal runaway early warning threshold), the protection system responds instantly and activates forced discharge at a 0.2C rate. Within 15 minutes, the cell voltage drops from 4.2V (fully charged state) to 3.0V (safety threshold), and the temperature is simultaneously reduced from 72℃ to 43℃, with no safety risks throughout the process.
