Lithium-polymer batteries typically have a full-charge voltage of 4.2 V and a nominal voltage of 3.7 V. High-voltage cells use modified cathode materials to raise the charge cut-off voltage. This cell can reach up to 4.4 V, with a nominal voltage of 3.85 V.

For batteries of the same size, high-voltage cells offer higher capacity. Combined with their voltage advantage, they generally deliver an overall energy increase of 8%–12%.

A 2000 mAh capacity is one of the most popular capacities for LiPo batteries and is widely used across many applications. Both high-discharge-rate and standard versions are commonly adopted in various scenarios. However, due to the characteristics of high-voltage cells, high-discharge-rate versions are less commonly used in high-power applications.
